If you are a fan of RPG games and you have not played Dragon Age: Origins then you have never truly experienced what an RPG game is. This is the only game that managed to rank up with Skyrim and Star Wars knights of the old republic. I first purchased this game for the XBOX 360 when it first came out, and I have been addicted to this day! Bioware's magical charm of making you fall in love with your companions is one of the biggest things in this game, not to mention the deep storyline, Tons of side quests and lore that will have drooling for more information. And one of the biggest things that stuck with me was the dark tone of the entire game. No matter where you are and what you are doing everything seems so....Hopeless and raunchy. Like around every corner waits a new horrifying terror. Such as the story of the brood-mother, It is both depressing and shocking, but I wont spoil it.And finally the fact that the story line strongly changes for each race or class you pick. Something only Bioware could pull off. So all in all this game is an underrated epic, an overlooked treasure. Surpassing Skyrim by far. So pick it up! you won't regret it!!

1000/10!!

Sure, it's a little on the raunchy side at times, so if yo uare bothered by that -- it's not your game and don't let your kid play it.

But if you are looking for some immersive gameplay, witty dialog, top notch character flow and interaction... this game is it.

It has the best dialog and the most unforgettable characters that I have ever experienced in this game genre -- with the exception of Mass Effect 2 which it stands toe-to-toe with. Replay value is awesome since you can always generate a new character. Like a helpless geek, I've played this game too many times.

Please ignore person who said it didn't work on Windows 7. It worked on my two machines just fine.

Absolutely amazing. This is a fantastic game, I am nearly through origins and will be battling the archdemon shortly and I'll be playing it again! once i get through the expansion and then Dragon Age II - I'll be playing it again. Things I love = the story, the variety of choices to virtually write your own story! The characters, the voice acting, the cut scenes. Things I didnt like but in the end didnt detract from the game - the constant load load load whenever your character goes into a different area. (That said I love how the map works) the fact that smaller area visuals were re-used. (again doesnt really detract from the game) All in All - I will play this forever!!!!
